What You Can DO!

We realize that there is an ingrained taboo in American society about a woman showing her breasts in public.
We know that it will take a concerted effort by many people to change this attitude; however, nothing is impossible.
It was once thought ridiculous the idea of a woman voting since women were considered incapable of the decision making process required for voting. Women were banned from wearing pants in many public places because it was considered indecent. Many women were denied entrance or service in public institutions because of their pants.
Through discussion and the exchange of ideas, we believe that we can help change American society attitude that discriminates against women being able to be topless in public the same as men.
You can help bring awareness about this topic to friends and family and ask them to be open-minded in reconsidering this American taboo. Through the power of many, we can create a shift in society!
Some people have asked where our topless protests are so that they can join the rally. We do not hold such events. Given that toplessness is illegal, we do not advocate breaking the law. Instead, we believe in educating people about the movement for naked equality.
There are links at the top of the page to flyers you can print for use. You may follow the links below to our store so you can buy a shirt or other items to show your support.
If people ask why you are wearing a shirt given our cause, you may tell you are on the equivalent of a hunger strike but for breasts and that yours will not be free until they are all free.
Yes, our country was founded on civil disobedience for the English crown; however, such action should be taken as a last resort. We beli eve it is important to respect the laws of society and engage in peaceful protest to amend such laws when they are no longer of use to the current society. If American society truly is about equality then laws against female toplessness should be removed; otherwise, we are hypocrites for judging Middle East societies for their clothing prohibitions and penalties about females in public.
Our organization finds inspiration in the women's suffrage movement. Susan B. Anthony did engage in civil disobience by attempting to vote. She was thrown and her vote did not count. All women gained equal access to voting was with the passage and ratification of the 19th Amendment to the constitution. Help us amend sexist American laws but choosing to advocate naked equality for all humans in the USA.
Thank you for your help and support!
